If funds are available in your account, your Mastercard® check card can be used up to a daily limit set by the credit union. This limit may change, and a request can be submitted to temporarily or permanently adjust the limit set. This limit is established to minimize losses in the case of a lost or stolen debit/check card. Please call 781-423-2022 to request a change to limits on your card.
The terms “debit card” and “check card” mean the same thing. A debit card withdraws money from your checking account as a check does; therefore, it debits your account. It can also withdraw money from your savings account, if you have it set up that way when the card is issued. Your card can be used to make purchases at any retail establishment that displays the Mastercard® logo.
